VOLUNTEERING

Our haunted house is run entirely by volunteers because we operate as a nonprofit organization. All proceeds go directly back into the attraction to improve the experience each year, covering things like set design, costumes, props, special effects, and paying our vendors. We’re passionate about creating a fun and thrilling experience for the community, and every dollar earned helps make that possible. While we can't offer paid positions, we do provide water and food during the season to keep everyone fueled and appreciated. We also host cast parties as a thank you to our incredible team. It’s a fun, creative environment where everyone’s passion helps bring the haunt to life!

WHEN:

• Auditions for scare acting roles will be held at specified dates during the months of June-September. Our very first casting call will be held:
  Saturday June 28th from 5pm-7pm
  Contact us via the link below to get further information, or follow us on Facebook to stay updated on all current and upcoming casting calls!

• We may take 5- 10 business days to respond once you apply. Please make sure to check your email as well as the junk folder for our response!

•  Volunteers wanting backstage and customer facing roles may contact us at any time and are encouraged to attend every casting call.

• You will be given information on our full range of dates, once you are brought on as a volunteer. Hurricane season may impact operation at times, and you will be given as much advance notice as possible to prevent travel in unsafe conditons.

Requirements for all positions

• Must be at least 16 years of age and able to pass a background check. Anyone under the age of 18 must have their guardian sign a waiver

• Must have a positive attitude, a desire to help, and willing to be flexible in unexpected situations

• Ability to perform physical tasks including, but not limited to, walking and/or standing for 6 hours or less, jump, walk on uneven ground, lift up to 25 lbs. If for any reason you do not meet these requirements, don't worry! Let us know your limitations and we would love to help find a position that suits you!

• MUST have reliable transportation

• Ability to adapt to the work environment and work well in team settings
